Hello everyone,
Just like that, March is almost over. One quarter of 2025 is gone.
My life lesson this month:
Routine, stability, boredom are gifts in life. If you are struggling with a lack of purpose or direction in life, clear out of any tasks for the next two weekends in your life and see what you naturally gravitate towards. What topic or subject attracts you?
For me is our physiology. I would happily go down a rabbit hole about this specific PCOS gene in our adrenal that converts testosterone (it’s SRD5A2 btw).
This month was exciting when it comes to deep-diving into PCOS topics. We had:
1. Brenna’s PCOS story
The amazing
shared her PCOS journey, including self-discovery, disappointment with our health system, and the period gap.2. Air fryer recipes
We shared 7 quick air fryer ideas built on PCOS nutritional pillars of high protein, high in vegetables and healthy fats.
3. Spironolactone review
We deep dived into a medication used for acne in PCOS to understand its risks, benefits and scientific backing.
4. The Endometrial cancer risk
Cancer is such a scary word and topic, but I truly believe we need to understand why our risk is 4 times higher and know how to prevent it.
You will notice that some of the content is members-only. You can become a member of The PCOS Newsletter for only £1,73/week to get in-depth knowledge about PCOS and expert medical insights.
April will bring some exciting content, including our next episode of the Fertility series, a gynaecologist's view on PCOS, an IVF PCOS story, and a new meal plan. I look forward to another month of learning and managing our PCOS together.
See you on Sunday,
Francesca
