Hello everyone,
One of the most important puzzle pieces of The PCOS Newsletter’s mission is to help you not feel alone. This is why we will be having regular stories from other women experiencing PCOS.
Today, I want to share Alexi’s story, who has a beautiful daughter despite having PCOS. She found out about her PCOS diagnosis in her post-partum appointment. Her story has filled me with hope and joy whilst feeling her pain through her adolescence, trying to figure out what was going on.
Despite the typical “old wives’ tales” about pregnancy, my hormones had never been so manageable. My skin was glowing, my acne had cleared up, I wasn’t struggling with weight, and my hair was long and healthy. I truly reached a peak in my hormone health.
PS: I will be in New York on Fri, 31st of Jan and Sat, 1st of Feb. Anyone in this community fancy getting a coffee? It’s my first time in NYC. Please DM me on Substack or reply to this email.

I remember mentioning it to my mom and grandma, but they reassured me that my body was regulating itself, which seemed reasonable then. That explanation, however, didn’t hold up as I grew older.
